Labor Day Festivities
So, we built a fort. Why, I'm not really sure. I suppose it was because I never had the experience as a child and, dangnabbit, you're never too old.
Behold, "Fort Femme", which during it's construction turned into a block party. And after it's construction turned into a battle of nerf guns.

After Roof
Before roof.
About a week ago, a friend of mine was the first person to approach an accident scene. A 21 year old kid, drunk driving a Mustang, hit a 19 year old kid riding a motorcycle. My friend ran to the aid of the 19 year old, only to find out he was breathing his last few breaths. She held him in her arms and comforted him in his final moments. This is devastating. My friend is heartbroken and I'm heartbroken as well. I sat around all night thinking about how lucky we are to have life, even though we take it for granted.
Then, it occurred to me... I don't know anyone who has held someone in their arms as they died as a victim of gun violence. Then I started thinking... People are so worried about what (safe and legal) people do with their pistols and rifles, when maybe they should take a look at their own child raising problems. I know safer teens that can shoot rifles and early 20-somethings who are masters of arms... but I know even more of that age range that can't handle their vehicle and haven't figured out that drinking and driving is not okay. Take the freakin' sports cars away from the teenagers/early 20 somethings. They are OBVIOUSLY not mature enough to handle them. Your kid only drives drunk because he hates you... it's a fact. If he didn't want to piss you off, he'd just stay where he was or call a cab or maybe even YOU for a ride.
Well, it's been one week since launch and we're bringing in an audience every day! I'd like to thank all of our launch supporters!
As most of you have probably already heard, I contracted lyme disease, so the website updates that we'd hoped to provide haven't been done yet. I'm just starting to feel better today. So, look forward to some updates and, as always, let me know what you'd like to see, etc.
I caught my Lyme Disease early... but lots of people don't. Below is a trailer and a link to the website for Under Our Skin... A documentary about people living with Chronic Lyme.
Thanks.

I am Miss Mary Mac 10 and just as the white house has a first lady - - I'm the FIRSTfemme of this here site. I have created this site (along with my partners - Lady Lead, Goldie Glox, and Haley Heat) because I feel that the web is truly lacking a community for pistol packin women who are hip and trendy.
I shoot/carry guns. I am what some would say a complete and total bad ass, however, I love pink and polka dots... I even scrapbook in my spare time and if someone makes fun of me for it, I'll punch you in the face whilst wearing moderately priced pumps that make my legs look femmeTASTIC.
We created this site because the internet is void of a hip place for female shooters. We have put an incredible amount of time into creating this website and have many MANY great things in store for you femmes. However, we really want to know what YOU would like to see. Take a look around... see what you like.. see what you don't like and make sure to give us feedback on all of it. Also, please be patient as I'm sure there'll be some technological hiccups here and there. Please let me know about any of those too :)
This portion of the site (FIRSTfemme) is where I sound off... and just ask Goldie or Haley--- I have one heck of a mouth...
I look forward to hearing your feedback. You can email me direct at MissMaryMac10_gmail.com.
