patriotic card
Arts and crafts on a pistol website might seem like a contradiction, however, just because I can protect myself (with great accuracy) doesnt mean that I cant do things a lady might do. One of my favorite pastimes is card making. I make cards for every holiday and every occasion. At first, I thought making my own cards would be a way to save money, but, as it turns out, it costs me more to make them than to buy them! I dont mind the cost because I have fun doing it and my friends and family appreciate getting a homemade card.
Below is a card that I made in honor of the femme .45 launch
Instructions for card:
1. Stamp lady on piece of 3x3 white cardstock. Color face and hat, and glaze flowers.
2. Fold 5x8 piece of white cardstock in half.
3. Corrugate red card stock with paper crimper and glue to white card.
4. Tie red, white and blue ribbon and glue to card.
5. Attach star brads.
6. Cut around stamped lady and glue on red card stock.
7. Glue card to blue backer.
